This is your chance to be part of a landmark project redefining logistics excellence!**About the Role:**We’re seeking a hands-on Technical Support Engineer – Software to support our Warehouse Execution Software (WES) and local IT infrastructure in a fully automated warehouse.The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support for FORTNA‘s local Customer. You’ll monitor the WES performance from the control room, resolve operational incidents, and implement system updates, working closely with operations, controls, and engineering teams. This includes utilizing your experience in software development, coding, networking, and customer facing technical support. In this role, you will be collaborating with numerous internal and external engineering and operational department to address and resolve customer issues quickly.**What You’ll Do:*** Monitor and troubleshoot **WES issues and system exceptions*** Act as the **primary responder** for software and network incidents and diagnostics* Participate in on-call/ on-site support, analyse and troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary fixes.* Collaborate with the product team to resolve complex problems on a high priority basis.* Implement **minor changes** to configurations, menus, and workflows* Maintain and enhance **machine networks and server infrastructure*** Enforce and support **network security, user access, and data integrity*** Keep all **software documentation** current and accessible* Foster a team atmosphere by actively collaborating with other team members.* Provide remote support for a FORTNA integrated automated warehouse in Poland**What You Bring:*** Experience in computer science, programming or related field.* Experiences in Core Java/J2EE stack.* Strong experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate, including Spring Data JPA.* Experience in writing SQL queries and working with Oracle and/or Postgres.* Strong understand of REST APIs.* Strong understanding of distributed architectures and design pattern.* Team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources.* Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.* Proven track record in **WES/WMS software or IT infrastructure support*** Experience in diagnosing **network and software-related issues** in industrial settings* Knowledge of **on-site server management**, backups, and monitoring tools (such as SuperSet, Grafana, and DataDog)* Clear, effective communicator able to work cross-functionally and under pressure* Nice to have experiences with direct software customer support and development.**Why Join Us:*** Core technical role in a cutting-edge automated logistics facility* Exposure to advanced WES systems and global integration* Long-term role with opportunities for technical leadership* Collaborative, high-performance support environment
