Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Project Manager (f/m/x) to lead investment and modernization projects at a major coke plant in Europe. You will manage schedules, coordinate contractors, and monitor budgets, working closely with production, maintenance, and support teams on-site in Poland.

Requirements include 5+ years in electrical engineering project management, technical education, and proficiency with MS Project. English is used in steering committee meetings; basic SAP knowledge is a plus.

Job description

We are looking for a Project Manager (f/m/x) for the implementation of investments and modernization in the field of electricity and industrial automation at one of the largest coke plants in Europe. The person in this position will be responsible for leading investment and modernization projects carried out in an active production plant, collaborating with contractors and representatives from production, maintenance, and supporting teams. As part of the team, you will organize meetings, control the schedule, and monitor project progress.

The role involves on-site work in Zdzieszowice or Dąbrowa Górnicza.

Your tasks

• Comprehensive management of investment and modernization projects carried out in an active industrial plant
• Coordinating the work of contractors and collaborating with teams involved in project implementation
• Monitoring the progress of work, schedule, and project budget
• Identifying project risks and initiating actions to minimize their impact on investment implementation
• Resolving current technical and organizational problems arising during project execution
• Preparing reports, notes, and presentations regarding project status
• Participating in project meetings and steering committees, also conducted in English

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management in the field of electrical engineering
• Technical education, preferably in electrical engineering
• Experience working with industrial facilities and installations such as natural gas, electricity, industrial water, and water-sewage infrastructure
• Proficiency in MS Project
• Ability to read technical documentation and technical drawings
