Job description

## Technical Project ManagerApplylocations: Gdansk, Polandtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR100700Lyten is leading an industrial revolution through Lyten 3D GrapheneTM, a breakthrough supermaterial unlocking a new generation of products — from lithium–sulfur batteries and energy storage systems to concrete admixtures, lightweight composites, and next-generation sensors that are revolutionizing industries. Together, these innovations are making a massive global improvement and driving real-world impact across energy, mobility, construction, and defense. At Lyten, we believe the most meaningful careers begin with purpose — and with people who want to make a difference. We’re not just developing advanced supermaterials — we’re about to change the world as we know it, reshaping how energy is stored, how products are built, and how progress is made. We’re entering an exciting growth phase, scaling production across the U.S. and Europe and expanding our team of engineers, scientists, and innovators.Apply now to join our team and be part of something bigger than yourself — where collaboration, creativity, and purpose come together to build the technologies that will define the next century.Lyten Poland is looking for a driven and technically sharp Technical Project Manager to own end-to-end execution of complex BESS product development and industrialization programs. This is not a coordination role — it's a leadership position at the heart of our engineering engine. You will be the primary technical integrator across mechanical, electrical, software, systems engineering, validation, and compliance disciplines, while partnering closely with Business Areas, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations. You translate bold product ambitions into rigorous execution plans — and you make sure they land.# **Key Responsibilities**## ## Project Leadership & Execution* Lead cross-functional technical project teams to deliver product development and industrialization on time, to specification, and on budget.* Own and drive the full project technical baseline: requirements, interface definitions, BOMs, validation plans, and implementation roadmaps — versioned and always current.* Establish and manage project schedules, critical path, integration milestones, and technical risks; drive mitigation plans with urgency and clarity.* Support project decision-making and trade-off discussions, ensuring both technical integrity and business alignment.## Gates, Reviews & Planning* Plan, prepare, and present Gate reviews and technical assessments in line with the Product Development Process.* Critically assess and translate business and product requirements into actionable technical requirements and phased implementation plans.* Estimate and manage engineering resource needs across project duration; align with line managers, track effort, and propose cross-project resource solutions proactively.## Cost, Budget & Change Control* Own the project cost structure and technical budget categories; monitor deviations and propose technical mitigations — from design-to-cost to part consolidation and manufacturability improvements.* Drive design-to-cost processes; set and track engineering cost targets with the same rigor as schedule and quality.* Manage technical change control end-to-end: collect engineering change requests (internal and supplier), assess technical impact, lead review and approval processes.## Cross-functional Collaboration* Facilitate technical communication across product, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality teams — ensuring everyone is working from the same baseline.* Coordinate and support customer technical interactions and clarifications per the customer communication plan, in close partnership with Sales and BD.* Monitor and/or lead supplier technical evaluation, integration, and qualification; escalate and manage supplier technical issues with speed and accountability.## Validation & Prototyping* Coordinate prototyping, verification, and validation campaigns; review test plans and results, and lead corrective action cycles.* Ensure upstream EHS and quality involvement is built into every project from day one — not retrofitted at the end.# **What You Bring**## ## Experience & Background* 7+ years of experience in technical project or program management within complex product development environments — BESS, energy storage, automotive, aerospace, or industrial equipment strongly preferred.* Proven track record of delivering cross-functional engineering programs end-to-end: from requirements definition through industrialization and customer handover.* Hands-on experience working across mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineering disciplines — able to challenge, integrate, and synthesize across all of them.* Experience in a greenfield or scale-up manufacturing environment is a significant advantage.## Technical Skills* Strong command of systems engineering practices: requirements management, interface control, validation planning, technical risk assessment.* Proficiency in project scheduling tools and critical path management (MS Project, Jira, or equivalent).* Solid understanding of cost engineering principles: design-to-cost, should-cost analysis, engineering change impact assessment.* Familiarity with relevant standards and frameworks (IEC, ISO, IATF, EU Battery Regulation 2023/1542) is a plus.## Personal Success Factors* Fluent English (C1/C2); Polish language skills are an advantage.* Highly organized, result-driven, and comfortable holding accountability for outcomes — not just activities.* Strong communicator: able to translate complex technical reality for business stakeholders and vice versa.* Entrepreneurial spirit — you build structure where none exists, and you thrive in fast-moving environments.* You bring grit, clarity under pressure, and a genuine sense of ownership to everything you touch.**Why Work at Lyten**At Lyten, you’ll be part of a team that’s redefining what’s possible in energy, materials, and manufacturing.
