Job summary

Lyten, Inc. in Gdansk, Poland, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to oversee installation, maintenance, repair and preventive programs for plant equipment.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering or related field and hands-on maintenance experience.
• Experience with lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma in modern operations.
• Experience in creating mechanical designs and maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance for all plant equipment and systems.
• Design maintenance procedures, SOPs, and work instructions for reliability.
• Review plant equipment performance to minimize downtime and optimize uptime.
• Develop maintenance programs based on preventive/predictive maintenance concepts.
• Calibrate, validate, and maintain electromechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Coordinate with suppliers on new machinery installation and commissioning.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Manage spare parts, tools, and inventories; control procurement.
• Track maintenance metrics and report to management; drive cost efficiency.
• Lead contractors on site and ensure compliance with health and safety rules.
