Job summary

Lyten, Inc. is searching for a Systems Engineer to join their team in Gdansk, Poland. This role focuses on developing advanced Battery Energy Systems and managing system requirements based on customer needs.

The ideal candidate will have a BS or MS in a relevant technical field, 2-5+ years of experience in the engineering domain, and a passion for mechanics and electronics. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure functionality and safety of the battery systems.

Qualifications

  • 2-5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Experience in the automotive or battery/BMS industry is highly preferred.
  • Design experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Define, maintain, and follow up system requirements for development and validation.
  • Hold overall functional responsibility for the system.
  • Drive system development in collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.

Your daily work will focus on deriving system requirements for battery system solutions based on customer needs, market expectations, and industry standards. These requirements will be broken down into clear, actionable sub-system requirements and followed through validation.You will be responsible for maintaining, tracking, and evaluating requirement validation results, working closely with cross-functional engineering teams including mechanical, electrical, software, and simulation disciplines.In this role, you may lead the system development of a product in development or one already in production.
