Job summary

Akamai is seeking experienced Software Engineers to join our teams across divisions in Poland or EU countries, open to relocation. You will work on a wide range of technical challenges, contribute to scalable solutions, and collaborate with a world-class organization.

Proficiency in multiple languages and Linux environments is valued. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience, strong knowledge of databases, and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Golang, Python, C/C++, or Java – at least two languages.
• Experience with Linux environments and databases (relational and non-relational).
• Containerization or orchestration skills (Docker, Kubernetes).

Do what you love

To be successful in software engineering at Akamai, you’ll:

• 3+ years of experience and knowledge in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Demonstrate proficiency in software development (Golang, Python, C/C++, or Java – at least two languages)
• Show experience in working with Linux environment
• Demonstrate experience working with relational and non-relational databases
• Demonstrate containerization or orchestration skills (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Nice to have: Big Data (Hadoop, Spark), internet protocols, microservices architecture experience, Angular/ TypeScript.
