Job summary

Grid Dynamics seeks a seasoned Senior Business Systems Analyst with a strong data focus to lead the end-to-end requirements lifecycle for a new enterprise-scale data platform on Microsoft Azure.

You will own discovery workshops, translate needs into actionable user stories for engineering and QA, and operate with autonomy as a Technical Product Owner bridging client and technical teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst on data-centric projects (data warehousing, BI, or data platforms).
• Conceptual understanding of modern cloud data stacks, specifically Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, or Synapse.
• Proven track record in greenfield initiatives and Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with requirements management tools (Jira, Confluence).

Responsibilities

• Own the requirements lifecycle: lead discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and workshops to surface, detail, and agree on functional and data requirements.
• Translate complex business processes and data needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate closely with distributed Data Architects and Engineers, anticipating technical questions and clarifying ambiguities proactively.
• Produce documentation tailored to both technical engineering teams and non-technical business end-users.
• Act as a trusted advisor and Technical Product Owner within an Agile/Scrum delivery framework.
