The role blends leadership with technical excellence, mentoring engineers, recruiting top talent, collaborating with Product to align roadmaps, and driving velocity and reliability across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, with Node.js and React experience.
• 2+ years in technical leadership or mentoring.
• Strong RESTful API design and microservices experience.
• Cloud + containerization (Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes).
• CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and reliability focus.
• Excellent English communication (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Define technical direction and pivotal design decisions for scalable architecture.
• Stay hands-on in coding while leading by example and enforcing best practices.
• Implement scalable microservices, API gateways, and event-driven patterns.
• Champion automated testing, CI/CD, and observability.
• Oversee Azure-centric cloud architecture with performance and security focus.
• Mentor 5–7 engineers, provide career guidance and growth.
• Recruit and interview engineering talent to strengthen the team.
• Collaborate with Product to align roadmap and optimize workflows.
• Improve SDLC efficiency and maintain low cycle times.
• Set engineering KPIs and leverage data-driven insights.
