Job summary

OneRail is a technology company in Kraków, Poland, delivering a delivery orchestration platform that connects shippers with a broad courier ecosystem. We seek a Senior Backend Developer (Node.js) to design, optimize, and scale backend services powering our logistics platform.

You will work in a hybrid setup, collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing secure, scalable solutions, and contributing to CI/CD improvements while staying current with new technologies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend development experience, 6+ years for senior.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, CosmosDB or similar.
• Understanding of cloud services (Azure and GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Assist in automating deployment processes and improving CI/CD pipelines.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our platform.

Senior Backend Developer (Node.js)

Location: Kraków, Poland

Work Style: Hybrid (2–3 days from the office/week preferred; flexible arrangement for candidates outside Kraków)

Salary: 18 000 – 22 000 PLN/month (regular), 20 000 – 28 000 PLN/month (senior)
