Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a part-time Polarion ALM Technical Consultant in Poland to administer and evolve Polarion ALM platforms for enterprise environments. You will ensure stability, performance, and continuous improvement across the full lifecycle, working directly with customers to implement solutions and share knowledge.

You will leverage your 5+ years of Polarion ALM experience, along with server administration, LDAP/AD integrations, and tool integrations with Jira, Azure DevOps,

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Siemens Polarion ALM experience with admin, config, customization, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows server administration and databases.
• LDAP/AD integration and enterprise backup/recovery processes.
• Strong problem-solving and excellent customer-facing communication skills.
• Experience with ALM/PLM environments and tool integrations (Jira/Azure DevOps/SAP) is a plus; scripting/automation/AI tooling is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain Siemens Polarion ALM environments across dev/test/prod.
• Troubleshoot complex application, server, and infra issues to ensure availability, stability, and security.
• Manage underlying Polarion infrastructure including app servers, DBs, and integrations; monitor and act on performance.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders to gather requirements and support integration with third-party tools.
• Produce clear technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to customer teams.

Your role

We are looking for a part‑time (50% FTE) Polarion ALM Technical Consultant to join our global team of technical experts delivering cutting‑edge solutions to some of the world's most demanding enterprise environments. In this role, you'll work directly with customers to administer, maintain, and evolve their Polarion ALM platforms — ensuring stability, performance, and continuous improvement across the full application lifecycle.

Your task

• Administering, configuring, and maintaining Siemens Polarion ALM environments, including performing version upgrades, patch deployments, and migrations across development, test, and production systems
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex application, server, and infrastructure‑level issues to ensure platform availability, stability, and security in line with customer standards
• Managing the underlying Polarion infrastructure, including application servers, databases, and system integrations, while monitoring performance and implementing corrective actions where needed
• Collaborating closely with customer stakeholders to understand technical requirements, deliver effective solutions, and support integration activities with third‑party and enterprise tools
• Producing clear technical documentation and providing knowledge transfer and ongoing operational support to customer teams

Your profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Siemens Polarion ALM, including strong expertise in administration, configuration, customisation, and troubleshooting
• Solid experience with server administration (Linux and/or Windows), database management (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar), and LDAP/Active Directory integrations
• Proven ability to manage backup, recovery, and system maintenance processes within enterprise application environments
• Strong problem‑solving skills combined with excellent customer‑facing communication abilities, with experience engaging directly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Experience in enterprise ALM/PLM environments, with knowledge of integrations with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or SAP considered a strong advantage; exposure to scripting, automation, or AI/GenAI tooling is a plus
