Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is expanding its Internal Audit team with new Technology Internal Audit roles. These positions focus on strengthening partnership with Technology to provide assurance and insights as they build for what’s next.

The team conducts general technology and integrated audits, SOX testing, on-site store and distribution center audits, and system implementations, with a strong emphasis on infrastructure, cloud environments, and control testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems and Technology, Data Science, or Cybersecurity Studies.
• 1-3 years of experience total – 1+ years in public accounting and/or internal audit – 1+ years of previous experience within the retail accounting/finance/IT industries.

Responsibilities

• Performs general technology and integrated audits focusing on infrastructure, cloud environments, application audits, controls.
• Schedules and holds walkthrough meetings with auditees.
• Drafts request lists for audits and manages follow-ups to meet audit objectives.
• Conducts technology and integrated audits to evaluate risks and controls in various technology environments.
• Communicates with audit contacts and discusses observations with management and senior leadership.
• Develops relationships with auditees during engagements.
• Researches and leverages prior learnings to analyze technology and related controls.
