Embla Medical’s Global Tax team is looking for an experienced Tax Accounting Specialist to support international tax operations across 35+ countries.
You will be responsible for IFRS tax reporting, coordination of statutory financial statements, and support for global tax compliance. You’ll work closely with colleagues in Iceland, the Netherlands, and Poland, as well as with Finance Control, the Finance Shared Service Center, and external advisors.
In this role, you will prepare quarterly and annual IFRS tax reports, determine current, deferred and cash tax positions, and ensure alignment between tax returns and IFRS reporting. You’ll coordinate the preparation and review of statutory financial statements, manage external service providers, maintain reconciliations between IFRS and statutory accounts, and support statutory audits.
You will also participate in Country-by-Country and Pillar 2 reporting, assist with transfer pricing calculations and documentation, and contribute to ongoing automation and digitalization initiatives within tax accounting.
