Your Role

As a Tariff/Customs Classification Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring BOSCH Group’s compliance with international trade regulations. Your expertise will help us navigate classification of goods for foreign trade purposes.

Your Impact

• Perform tariff/customs classification of BOSCH product portfolio according to numerous national tariff schemes as a leading task and export control classification (if needed).
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams and international stakeholders to gather necessary technical information and documentation for accurate classification.
• Work with a global team and Foreign Trade functions in entities in multiple countries; fluent communication in English is expected.
• Stay ahead of the game by keeping up with evolving foreign trade regulations, particularly on tariff/customs classification in many jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as international trade, business or engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in trade compliance or product engineering.
• Strong understanding and proven experience in tariff/customs classification.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Experience in export control classification will be a big asset.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Advanced English proficiency (German is a plus).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, GTS or MIC) is a bonus.
• Great communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
