Job summary

BOSCH Group is hiring a Tariff/Customs Classification Specialist to ensure compliance with international trade rules. You will classify BOSCH products for multiple jurisdictions and support export control processes with a global team.

The role requires strong analytical skills, English proficiency, and experience with tariff classification and ERP systems. A flexible, hybrid work model and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in international trade, business or engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in trade compliance or product engineering.
• Strong understanding and proven experience in tariff/customs classification.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Experience in export control classification is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Advanced English proficiency (German is a plus!).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, GTS or MIC) is a bonus.
• Great communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform tariff/classification of BOSCH product portfolio according to national tariff schemes and export control classifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders to gather technical information and documentation for accurate classification.
• Work with a global team and Foreign Trade functions in entities in multiple countries; fluent English communication is required.
• Stay ahead of evolving foreign trade regulations, particularly in tariff/classification across jurisdictions.

Your Role

As a Tariff/Customs Classification Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring BOSCH Group’s compliance with international trade regulations. Your expertise will help us navigate classification of goods for foreign trade purposes.

Your Impact

• Perform tariff/customs classification of BOSCH product portfolio according to numerous national tariff schemes as a leading task and export control classification (if needed).
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and international stakeholder to gather necessary technical information and documentation for accurate classification.
• Work with a global team and Foreign Trade functions in entities in multiple countries therefore fluent communication in English is expected.
• Stay ahead of the game by keeping up with evolving foreign trade regulations, in particular on tariff/customs classification in many jurisdictions.
