Job summary

T-Mobile Polska is seeking a Solution Architect to shape the architecture of IoT connectivity platforms for business customers. You will translate business needs into scalable technical solutions covering IoT connectivity, API design, cloud platforms and lifecycle management, collaborating with product owners, engineering teams and stakeholders across borders.

Job description

Join T-HUB and help shape the architecture of IoT connectivity platforms used by business customers across Deutsche Telekom Group.

In this role, you will translate business needs into scalable technical solutions covering IoT connectivity, SIM lifecycle management, APIs, cloud platforms and selected charging or session-management capabilities. You will work closely with product owners, engineering teams and international stakeholders — from initial concept through implementation.

What you will do

• Design target architectures for selected IoT connectivity capabilities.
• Translate business and technical requirements into architecture, integration patterns and non-functional requirements.
• Guide delivery teams during implementation and ensure that solutions remain aligned with the agreed architecture.
• Facilitate technical decisions and architecture reviews with product, engineering and business stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, modernize and automate existing platform capabilities.
• Coordinate architecture-related workstreams in international projects.
• Maintain clear architecture documentation and support solutions throughout their lifecycle.

What you bring

• Several years of experience in solution architecture, system design or technical analysis within telecommunications, IoT or another complex platform environment.
• Experience with IoT/M2M connectivity platforms or comparable telecom service platforms.
• Good understanding of at least two of the following areas:
• session or connectivity management,
• charging and billing,
• customer self-service or CRM,
• risk and fraud management.
• Experience designing integrations and APIs, preferably REST-based.
• Understanding of cloud-native or container-based architectures.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of 5G SA, EPC or mobile core architecture.
• Experience with TM Forum APIs.
• Familiarity with UML, TOGAF or similar architecture methodologies.
• Experience working with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Experience coordinating technical workstreams in distributed international teams.

You do not need to meet every nice-to-have requirement. We are also interested in candidates with strong architecture experience who would like to deepen their knowledge of IoT connectivity platforms.
