System Test Engineer

Job summary

Solid in Kraków seeks a results-driven Test Engineer to translate system requirements into ASPICE-compliant test strategies and to develop HIL-based test plans for system, integration, and functional verification.

You will design and execute System Qualification Tests, HW-SW integration tests, and element tests, analyze results, and ensure coverage while collaborating with developers to verify fixes. Hybrid work with a 16:00–22:00 shift is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of microcontroller hardware, electric motors, automotive electronics, and electrical circuits.
• Understanding of automotive communication protocols, including CAN.
• Good knowledge of C and Python, with basic MATLAB/Simulink and Simscape models.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system and design requirements and translate them into effective test strategies and test cases in line with ASPICE processes.
• Prepare and maintain HIL-based test plans for system, integration, and functional verification activities.
• Design and execute System Qualification Tests, Hardware-Software Integration Tests, and System Element Integration Tests.
• Perform test execution, analyze results, and ensure adequate test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track hardware and software defects through resolution.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to investigate issues and validate fixes.
• Support release activities by preparing release verification tests and test summary reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methods, tools, and processes.
• Work on testing power electronics inverters and other key BEV vehicle components using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments.
• Work model: hybrid from Kraków (3 days per week from the office), second shift (16:00–22:00)
