GE Grid Solutions in Poland seeks a Systems Engineer to plan, supervise, and coordinate all systems engineering tasks for major HVDC projects, in collaboration with international teams and suppliers. You will ensure ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 lifecycle processes, and drive high-quality deliverables while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.
The role requires hands-on requirements management, verification and validation activities, and willingness to travel ~10% of time.
Job Description Summary For Grid Solutions, Offshore HVDC represents a key differentiating technology and a central focus for the business, particularly in Europe where Transmission System Operators have very ambitious renewable energy targets. In that context and for Germany, Grid Solutions is partnering with German TSOs which plans to invest more than $30B by 2030 in deploying new HVDC converter stations to bring Offshore Wind energy into Germany and the Netherlands. In this context, Grid Solutions is looking for a Systems Engineer responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating all systems engineering technical tasks required to realize the above project objectives, whether those tasks are undertaken in house or by Suppliers/Sub-Contractors.
