Job summary

RTX, the world’s leading aerospace and defense company, seeks Systems Engineering interns in Warsaw. You will engage with the value stream team to design, control, and improve engineering processes while gaining exposure to production planning and manufacturing.

As an enrolled undergraduate in engineering, you will learn Raytheon processes, build cross-functional relationships with partners, and participate in CORE apprentice training to develop practical skills for a future career in aerospace.

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 60 credits completed as of summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• What You Will Do: design, control, and improve the engineering process with the value stream team.
• Work to reduce cycle time and customer lead time, improve productivity, and reduce material cost.
• Learn Raytheon processes and establish collaborative relationships with program partners.
• Attend apprentice training and shadow experienced engineers to gain exposure to planning and manufacturing.

What You Will Do:

Systems Support Engineers design, control, and improve the engineering process through a collaborative effort with the value stream team. You would apply your skills to reduce cycle time and customer lead time, improve productivity, and reduce material cost.

What You Will Learn:

Learn and have exposure to Raytheon’s design/production processes with the opportunity to identify process improvements

Establish collaborative working relationships with program partners

Attend Raytheon CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence) Apprentice training.

Shadow more experience engineers where appropriate to gain exposure to planning, requirements and manufacturing.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with an emphasis in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics or related technical field.

Completed, at minimum, 60 hours of college credit towards their degree as of the summer 2027.

Proficient in Polish and English (both written and oral); must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management via email, telephone, and in person.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Familiarity with Microsoft Office toolset (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)

English language proficiency of minimum C1-Advanced level

Strong organization skills with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Self-motivated and results oriented

Ability to work in a team environment

Demonstrated hands‑on mechanical aptitude with the ability to work across disciplines
