Job summary

Woodward Poland Sp.zo.o is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead audits and ensure supplier conformance for aerospace projects. You will work with internal teams and suppliers to uphold Woodward quality standards and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include applying APQP/PPAP/FAI, RCCA analysis, and monitoring supplier performance. Travel to domestic and international sites is required to support audits and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 3–5 years in quality engineering or manufacturing, aerospace preferred.
• Fluent in English and Polish.

Job description

What You Will Do:Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with AS 9100 standards and Woodward-specific requirements.Collaborate with customers and Woodward colleagues to communicate and enforce quality requirements to Woodward suppliers.Utilize tools such as APQP, PPAP, and FAI to ensure the seamless launch of Woodward projects with suppliers.Work closely with suppliers to address quality issues through data analysis and the application of RCCA (Root Cause and Corrective Action) methodologies.Analyze supplier performance data to identify trends and implement improvement initiatives.Partner with sourcing teams to evaluate and develop supplier capabilities while maintaining accurate quality records.Travel domestically and internationally to conduct audits and support supplier improvement activities.Participate in and management of upcoming projects as the responsible person from the SQE site, including internal transition, PTP, and others.
