Job summary

Woodward Poland Sp.zo.o is seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead end-to-end localization and part transfer projects across Europe, with emphasis on Sofia, Ellington, Peterborough, and other growth initiatives.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams through the full lifecycle from sourcing to ramp-up, ensuring PPAP/FAI and aerospace standards compliance, while driving supplier development and regionalization to optimize cost and lead times.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end localization and part transfer projects across Europe, focusing on strategic growth sites.
• Manage supplier transitions, dual-source implementation, and regionalization to optimize cost, capacity, risk and lead times.
• Develop integrated project plans with milestones, critical paths, and risk registers for on-time delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams through project lifecycles from initiation to ramp-up.
• Drive supplier transition activities: sourcing, selection, qualification, production readiness, tooling transfer and first article.
• Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements (PPAP/FAI, aerospace standards).
• Maintain governance routines: reviews, executive updates, KPI dashboards and stakeholder communications.
• Facilitate supplier development to meet capacity, quality, and delivery targets before production ramp.
• Oversee inventory transition planning, safety stock, and cutover to maintain production during transfers.
• Identify process improvements and localization opportunities supporting Woodward’s European Aerospace growth.
