Job summary

Woodward, Inc. is seeking a Quality Management professional to own and advance the QMS in accordance with AS9100 and regulatory standards.

You will lead internal audits, coordinate regulator and customer audits, and drive CAPA, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement across processes. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical field and at least 5 years in aerospace quality management, with AS9100 audit experience and Part 145/21 knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in quality management systems within aerospace or regulated industries.
• Experience with AS9100 implementation, maintenance, and certification audits.
• Knowledge of Part 145 and Part 21 requirements; practical certification preferred.
• Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor AS9100 qualification.

Responsibilities

• Own, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with AS9100 and regulatory requirements.
• Support implementation, certification, and ongoing compliance of Part 145 and Part 21 approvals.
• Develop, manage, and execute the internal audit program with planning, reporting, and follow-ups.
• Coordinate preparation for audits from regulators, customers and surveillance bodies.
• Manage corrective/preventive actions, ensure timely closures and effectiveness checks.
• Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving for audit findings and nonconformities.
• Monitor QMS performance via KPIs and management review inputs.
• Drive continual improvement for process effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
