Substitute Classroom Playground Aide

Substitute Classroom Playground Aides monitor students in a classroom, playground, or lunch room setting. Current rate of pay is $11.33 per hour.

Hours are typically 6:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Coverage is on an as‑needed basis; no guarantee of a certain number of hours per day, week, month, or year.

Substitutes are used to cover regular staff when they are out of the building. Calls are made in advance when possible, but most will occur on the morning of the required coverage.
