Job summary

Sperasoft in Warsaw is seeking a talented 3D Environment Artist to shape vibrant, stylized worlds for AAA titles. You will create modular level art assets, textures, and props from scratch, contributing to immersive environments that millions of players experience daily.

The ideal candidate has strong texture skills, a solid modeling background in multiple styles, and hands-on experience with Marmoset, Substance Painter/Designer, Maya, and Unreal Engine 5.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to create, trim sheets, tileable and unique textures, and combine them effectively.
• Strong modeling background, ideally in a variety of styles. Ability to manually adjust weighted normals for assets.
• Strong knowledge of baking and texturing with tools such as Marmoset, Substance Painter, and Designer.
• Ability to seamlessly bake assets made of multiple parts.
• Strong Maya experience is a plus.
• Ability to work with Unreal Engine 5.
• 2 years of professional experience in the video game industry building architecture and props.
• A passion for creating games and the ability to learn quickly will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create modular level art assets and props from scratch.
• Create, trim sheets, tileable and unique textures, and effectively combine them to create high-quality assets.
• Optimise assets for different platforms, including creating LODs and collisions.
