Job summary

Accenture Poland in Warsaw seeks an experienced M&A/Private Equity consultant to shape, evaluate, and execute complex transactions across Europe. You will work with PE investors and corporate clients, translating deal rationale into actionable plans and measurable impact.

In this role, you’ll lead or support target screening, due diligence, and integration programs, while managing governance and client relationships in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• M&A strategy and execution experience in consulting, transaction advisory, Private Equity, or a comparable deal environment.
• 6+ years of experience in Functional M&A or Tech/IT M&A with leadership responsibilities.
• Post-deal delivery experience including Day 1 readiness, integration or separation, and value creation.
• IMO/SMO governance capabilities: RAID management, steering committees, and executive reporting.
• Deep functional expertise in at least one area (Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, HR, IT or Commercial).
• Deep industry knowledge in priority sectors and ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate analysis into board-level recommendations.
• Ability to lead in fast-paced, ambiguous deal environments and coach juniors.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstreams across M&A and PE engagements from pre-deal diligence to value creation.
• Translate ambiguous challenges into structured workplans and client-ready recommendations.
• Support or lead target screening, due diligence, and synergy assessments.
• Plan Day 1 readiness, integration and separation programmes across functions and technology.
• Drive IMO/SMO governance, RAID management, and executive reporting.
• Coordinate functional M&A across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, HR, and IT.
• Shape IT integration/separation strategy across applications and platforms.
• Manage TSAs and exit plans aligning with target operating models.
• Contribute to business development, proposals, and thought leadership.
