An AI-native media consultancy helping agencies and brands navigate today’s fragmented media ecosystem. The company combines hands-on media expertise with AI-driven transformation through strategic workshops, practical training, custom solutions, and ongoing innovation-as-a-service to deliver outcome-focused media performance.
We are looking for a Strategy Associate Director - a senior, hands-on strategist who can lead complex strategic opportunities, develop compelling client-facing proposals, and elevate the quality of work across the team.
The ideal candidate has approximately 6–9 years of highly relevant experience in agency or managed-service media strategy, with substantial ownership of pitches, RFPs, and custom proposals. This role requires someone who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, create differentiated recommendations, and confidently communicate their ideas to senior stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the strategic direction for complex programmatic and omnichannel opportunities across the team.
- Own large, customized proposals and pitch narratives, including structure, differentiation, strategic point of view, and final client-ready presentations.
- Partner with Growth, Planning, and Client Services teams, providing confident strategic recommendations when briefs or stakeholder input are ambiguous.
- Support senior client conversations, RFP presentations, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and educational sessions as needed.
- Identify business growth opportunities through new solutions, expanded channel strategies, and more effective use of audience insights and measurement capabilities.
- Mentor Strategy Managers and improve the quality of strategic work through feedback, coaching, reusable frameworks, and more effective workflows.
- Stay up to date on programmatic advertising, omnichannel media, audience strategies, measurement, AI, and broader advertising trends, translating industry developments into practical strategic recommendations.
What You Bring
- Extensive agency or managed-service experience in media strategy, including substantial pre-sales and pitch ownership.
- A portfolio of sophisticated client-facing presentations demonstrating a clear strategic narrative and differentiated recommendations.
- Proven ownership of complex RFPs and custom proposals, rather than experience limited to planning inputs or post-sale strategy.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead conversations, defend recommendations, handle objections, and work effectively with demanding stakeholders.
- Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize insights across audiences, categories, competitors, markets, and media behavior.
- A broad understanding of programmatic platforms and omnichannel media planning; hands‑on planning experience is an advantage.
- Experience mentoring strategists and improving the quality of team deliverables while remaining actively involved in strategy development.
- Strong professional English and the ability to collaborate effectively with international teams and stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- A clear strategic point of view that goes beyond additional years of media planning or campaign management.
- Recent, hands‑on experience developing strategy and creating client-ready deliverables.
