Job summary

Shell is seeking an SC Commercial Lead - Buyer in Poland to drive value through strategic sourcing and supplier management. The role supports the Americas region with mid-shift scheduling and a focus on cost reduction, risk management, and contract performance.

You will work with category managers and suppliers to deliver operating excellence. We value hands-on negotiation skills, strong analytics, and the ability to influence across organizational levels.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Commercial Management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce major in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
• CIPS certification is an advantage.
• Proven experience in developing and executing sourcing strategies, including commercial negotiations and contract structuring to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex sourcing activities, manage high value and risk contracts, and provide strategic commercial support.
• Profile suppliers, assess market conditions, and build long-term partnerships.
• Collaborate with Contract Holders and stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business goals.
