Job summary

ABB is seeking a Procurement professional to lead and coordinate purchasing and logistics activities across Europe. You will support R&D project procurement, negotiate with suppliers, and implement cost-optimizing sourcing strategies while ensuring compliance with ABB standards.

You will work in a remote, international setting, collaborating with engineering, product management, and business line teams to deliver reliable, cost-effective procurement solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Proven procurement experience with supplier management and R&D project coordination.
• Strong analytical skills and cost optimization mindset.
• Experience with Agile Gate Model methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation, maintenance and compliance of purchasing and logistics activities in Procurement.
• Coordinate procurement activities for R&D projects and liaise with technology and product teams.
• Execute purchasing and logistics strategies to optimize costs, quality and reliability.
• Design and implement local sourcing plans to meet business targets.
• Support local sourcing strategies aligned with business strategy.
• Apply procurement standards, tools and processes including supplier negotiations.

Education
