Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Buyer, IBP to execute procurement activities ensuring timely availability of materials, services, and products while supporting quality, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.

You will work closely with planning, supply chain, and suppliers to ensure business continuity, create and manage purchase orders, monitor deliveries, maintain supplier relationships, and align procurement with inventory planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Purchasing, Supply Planning.
• English language proficiency.
• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience in supplier relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders in line with demand and supply plans.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials to meet production and customer requirements.
• Monitor order confirmations, delivery schedules, and shipment tracking.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with commercial and operations teams to align procurement plans and optimize inventory.
• Analyze procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for cost reductions and process improvements.
