Job summary

devicenow is seeking a Strategic IT Procurement Specialist in Wroclaw. You will manage procurement and strategic sourcing of IT hardware, coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to align with customer needs.

You will develop purchasing strategies, review configurations, manage supplier offers, and ensure documentation standards. Fluency in English and German is required. This role offers a flexible hybrid work model and opportunities for career progression.

Your role in the team

As a Strategic IT Procurement Specialist you are responsible for the procurement and strategic management of IT equipment.

Your Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement Management

• Develop purchasing strategies for required IT hardware
• Define and review device configurations from various manufacturers based on different customer needs
• Read configuration files and verify the accuracy of offers and manufacturer setups for requested devices

Supplier Management

• Evaluate suppliers and their specific offers based on criteria such as price, innovation capability, and quality

Stakeholder Communication

• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure reporting and documentation standards for both internal and external purposes

What We Expect From You

• Solid multi-year experience in IT purchasing or in the field of IT smart devices (configured workplaces)
• Affinity for IT and strong technical understanding
• Experience with tools and ERP systems (procurement systems)
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Excellent English and German skills, written and spoken
