Job summary

Abbott in Warsaw, within the Diabetes Care Division, seeks a Finance Controller for Poland & CEE. This role provides financial guidance to the organization and strategic support to regional controllers and the General Manager Poland & CEE.

Interaction with senior management across the region is required. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Finance/Accounting/Economy with 10+ years’ Controlling experience and 5+ years international exposure, plus strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economy; MBA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA desirable.
10+ years of progressive experience in Controlling.
5+ years of international experience across multiple countries; regional and consolidation experience is a must.
Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
Excellent system skills, especially with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Fluent in Polish and English.
Previous successful experience in people management.

Responsibilities

Oversee 8 countries with annual sales > US$250M.
Ensure all financial activity complies with Abbott policies and local laws.
Manage, consolidate and report monthly financial results with accuracy.
Lead Finance & Demand staff development and growth.
Provide financial and strategic support to Commercial Heads and Regional Controller.
Participate in the monthly CDR process and regional reviews.
