Job summary

Warner Bros. Discovery in Poland seeks a Statutory Manager to oversee statutory reporting, compliance, and audits for international entities across the EMEA region.

You will partner with finance, tax, legal, treasury, and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality financial reporting and regulatory compliance. Qualifications

• Extensive experience in statutory reporting, controllership, external audit, or corporate accounting in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, financial reporting requirements, external audit processes, IFRS, and local GAAP frameworks.
• Accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent preferred.
• Experience managing legal entities across multiple jurisdictions and assessing the accounting impact of complex transactions.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms, with advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation and review of annual statutory financial statements and filings across multiple jurisdictions.
• Lead statutory audits from planning through completion with external auditors and service providers.
• Review GAAP reporting requirements, adjustments, and reconciliations; align US GAAP with local GAAP.
• Provide accounting guidance on complex transactions including intercompany, transfer pricing, dividends, restructurings, mergers, liquidations.
• Partner with RTR, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Legal, and FP&A to support initiatives and statutory accounting.
• Drive process improvements, standardization, internal control enhancements, and compliance within controllership.
• Support team development through onboarding, training, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
