Job summary

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a Revenue Accountant to support the EMEA Networks business. The role involves ensuring accurate revenue recognition, IFRS/US GAAP compliance, and process improvements within a global media company.

Reporting to the Senior Revenue Accounting Manager, you will manage monthly accruals, general ledger entries, and audit activities, contributing to robust financial controllership across the region.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable accounting experience in an international environment with exposure to revenue recognition or similar areas.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and/or US GAAP, with focus on revenue recognition standards.
• Very good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Analyse contracts and guidance to determine proper revenue recognition in line with regulations and company policies.
• Prepare monthly revenue accrual calculations, entries to the general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Propose improvements and automation of daily/monthly revenue accounting tasks and workflows.
• Assist in internal/external audit work (SOX testing, internal controls).
• Prepare management reports, financial schedules and ad hoc analyses.
• Coordinate cross-department meetings, prepare agendas, and track actions.

Skills

Accounting experience in international
