Job summary

METRO Global Solution Center Szczecin is seeking a Project Leader in Finance Standardization PMO to drive end-to-end transformation of finance processes across a global organization. You will manage scope, budget, timelines, and stakeholder communications while leading cross-regional teams to deliver standardized finance solutions.

The role requires 2+ years of transformation experience, strong finance acumen, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• 2+ years leading complex transformation projects, ideally global.
• Strong finance and business acumen from hands-on project leadership.
• Ability to integrate multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Credentials in project management (PMP or PRINCE2).
• Familiarity with Wrike, Asana, Monday.com is a plus.
• Excellent English communication, written and verbal.

• Lead end-to-end finance standardization projects, managing scope, budget, timeline, resources, risks, and stakeholder communication.
• Steer cross-functional, cross-regional teams to deliver impactful change across the finance function.

• Drive transformation by implementing globally harmonized finance processes and best practices.
• Ensure transparency and accountability, maintain documentation, track progress, and report KPIs and RAG status.
• Support the broader project portfolio, including reporting, documentation management, and compliance.

Job Description

As a Project Leader, you will:

• Ensure transparency and accountability, maintaining project documentation, tracking progress, and reporting on KPIs and RAG status
• Support the broader project portfolio, including reporting, documentation management, and compliance with internal standards

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Minimum 2 years of experienceleading complex, high-value transformation projects—ideally in a large, global corporate environment
• Strongfinance and business acumen, gained through hands‑on experience in finance-related project or program leadership
• Proven ability tointegrate multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams, aligning diverse priorities to achieve shared project goals
• Recognizedproject management credentials (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
• Familiarity with modern project management tools such asWrike, Asana, Monday.com (a plus)
• A university degree (BSc or higher) inEconomics, Finance, or Accounting
• Exceptionalcommunication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills — especially in English, both written and verbal
• Proficiency inMS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
• A proactive, organized, and collaborative mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
