Job summary

Sprout Social is hiring a Staff Software Engineer, Web in Kraków, Poland. The role emphasizes leading frontend initiatives, crafting performant UIs with React/TypeScript, and collaborating with product, design, and backend teams to deliver world-class experiences.

You will mentor peers, participate in code reviews, and help shape the frontend architecture while growing expertise across the full web stack in a remote-first, hybrid-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with planning, building, and releasing frontend applications with web technologies (React, JavaScript, TypeScript)
• Experience building web applications with TypeScript
• Professional English proficiency in verbal and written communication
• Experience working as a full stack engineer
• Experience working with Node.js
• Experience working in a large codebase
• Experience building and/or maintaining an internal UI library
• Communication and project management skills from collaborating with people across different teams and functional areas.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, performant, and maintainable code.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to other team members, including junior engineers.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, designers, and product managers, to deliver world class customer experiences.
• Participate in and conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Continuously improve the codebase by identifying areas for refactoring and optimization to enhance maintainability and scalability.
