Job summary

Redpanda Data is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to own the UI platform powering all Redpanda products. You will lead the migration to product-based microfrontends and design a shared host shell, remote contracts, and frontend standards.

This is a hands‑on IC role focused on architecture, not management. You’ll work with a growing Warsaw-based team on commerce, sign‑up, billing, cloud marketplace integrations, and shared customer‑facing surfaces across EMEA and the Americas.

Qualifications

• Significant experience building production‑grade web apps with React and TypeScript.
• Experience with microfrontend architectures and Module Federation.
• Led large technical projects end to end and defined architectural guidelines.
• Strong frontend fundamentals including performance and accessibility.
• Experience with AI-assisted dev workflows and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Own the Redpanda UI platform end to end: host shell, remote contracts, versioning and compatibility.
• Define migration path for splitting product surfaces into independently deployable microfrontends.
• Set architecture and standards for frontends and design system evolution.
• Lead architecture discussions and ensure API decisions land well in the UI.
• Mentor engineers across UX and product teams.
