Job summary

Cloudbeds is seeking a Staff Software Engineer in Revenue Intelligence to shape the technical direction of systems that inform pricing, demand, and commercial decisions for hoteliers. You will work across customer-facing apps, backend services, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure, balancing hands-on coding with architecture leadership.

You will lead complex capabilities, drive reliability and security, reduce technical debt, and align multiple teams around durable platform decisions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering with leadership across production systems.
• Deep hands-on Python across ecosystems guiding engineering decisions.
• Strong architecture and distributed-systems fundamentals for APIs, events, data pipelines.
• Experience with data-intensive systems and ML/pricing/experimentation domains.
• Cloud & platform engineering with AWS, containers, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Argo CD, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Set and evolve technical strategy for Revenue Intelligence.
• Lead design and delivery of capabilities across web apps, APIs, data pipelines.
• Identify and resolve systemic risks in scalability, reliability, security.
• Drive modernization of legacy systems with careful migrations.
• Mentor, set engineering standards, and raise organizational effectiveness.
• Remain hands-on in codebase for critical tasks.
