CoreWeave seeks a Staff Software Engineer, Cluster Orch (Non SUNK), to act as a principal technical leader guiding Kubernetes-native orchestration strategy across massive GPU clusters. You will own the platform vision, define admission and scheduling policies, and resolve scalability and fairness challenges at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in distributed systems or cloud platforms.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes internals, scheduling, CRDs, and controller-based architectures.
• Proven track record leading large-scale orchestration or resource-management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision and architecture for major portions of CoreWeave’s platform.
• Define how AI workloads are admitted, scheduled, and governed across large GPU clusters.
• Lead cross-team architecture reviews and establish platform-wide reliability standards.
• Mentor senior engineers and drive alignment across infrastructure, CKS and management teams.
