Job summary

Altium seeks a Staff Software Development Engineer in Poland to design, implement, and verify both low-level computational geometry and high-level application logic to advance our PCB software platform.

You will develop cutting‑edge algorithms, optimize performance and memory, and provide ongoing support across multiple products, collaborating with a global team and leveraging modern programming techniques.

Qualifications

• Min. 5 years of software development experience.
• Strong C# (.NET Framework, .NET Core) with Delphi a plus.
• Proficient in modern programming techniques and patterns.
• Experience optimizing performance and memory using tools like PerfView, Visual Studio Profiler and RenderDoc.
• Cross‑platform coding with efficient, compact solutions.
• Deep understanding of algorithms and data structures with complexity analysis.
• Modular design for extensible systems.
• Excellent English communication in a professional environment.
• CAD know‑how is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and verify both low-level and high-level code to drive Altium products.
