Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Extensive hands-on experience designing planning modules for autonomous systems deployed in production or real-world ops.
  • Strong programming skills in C++ (preferred) or Python; experience with Linux-based OS.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and iterate on mission, behavior, and motion planners for autonomous ground support in airport environments.
  • Drive key technical decisions across the planning stack and define interfaces and architecture.
  • Prototype and evaluate new planning approaches and bring best ideas to production.
  • Collaborate with perception, controls, localization, and systems engineering teams to deliver an integrated autonomous system.
  • Establish and promote best practices in software development, safety, and systems engineering for planning domain.
  • Mentor engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and design discussions.
