CloudLinux Inc. is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead the development, improvement, and production rollout of its Imunify email security technology.

You will ship spam-detection models, build and integrate a Go-based inference engine, and ensure end-to-end detection quality from customer feedback to retraining. The role requires 5+ years shipping detection/classification systems, hands-on PyTorch transformer work, and strong Linux/Python skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years shipping detection or classification systems with false-positive costs.
• Experience taking at least one ML classifier to production: corpus construction, thresholding, error analysis.
• Hands-on transformer training in PyTorch: tokenizers, pre-training, fine-tuning, CPU inference measurement.

Responsabilités

• Train, evaluate, and release spam-detection models; build corpus, set thresholds, review precision/recall.
• Develop production side of new engine in Go: inference service, mail-filter integration, tokenizer, streaming parser.
• Fix detection quality end-to-end by adjusting rules, corpora, or retraining; balance false positives and catches.
• Maintain corpus tooling and training infrastructure.
• Review classifier/rule/model changes to avoid bottlenecks in releases.
