Job summary

InPost Pay is building its fintech platform from the ground up in Poland, offering an AI-native engineering team and a lean, high-performance environment.

We seek a Staff-level ML Engineer to set standards for credit decisioning, own the model lifecycle, and partner with Data Engineering for a production-grade feature store. Hybrid work in Poland, B2B contract, mentorship to lead ambitious ML initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in machine learning engineering in production systems.
• 3+ years in credit-scoring, risk modelling or decisioning ML.
• Expert in Python and ML frameworks (scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch).
• Experience with explainability and regulated model risk.

Responsibilities

• Set ML architecture and modelling standards for credit decisioning.
• Own end-to-end model lifecycle: feature selection, training, validation, deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering on feature-store roadmap.
• Establish documentation, model cards and adverse-action reasoning.
• Design agentic loops/graphs for reliable, observable model delivery.
• Mentor Senior and Mid ML Engineers; set technical direction.
