Productboard is seeking a Staff AI Engineer to own the architectural layer that makes our AI-native product work end-to-end. You will ship code, set technical direction, and shape decisions about what’s worth building alongside engineers, PMs, and designers.

With 6–10+ years in production software and deep LLM experience, you’ll define scalable patterns, build evaluation systems, and drive faster validated learning.

Qualifications

• 6-10+ years of production software engineering experience.
• Hands-on LLM experience in real products: prompt design, context management, evaluation, trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Own architectural layer that makes AI-native; work with engineers, PMs, and designers to ship features end-to-end.
• Define technical direction and shape decisions about what’s worth building.
• Get from idea to validated learning twice as fast.
