Talan is seeking a Business Analyst with Capital Markets experience to support a strategic renewal program for core FX pricing and trading systems. The consultant will join the Price & Distribution squad within Corporate and Investment Banking, working with Sales and Traders globally on FX Options pricing generation for the trading floor.

Mandatory requirements include 3+ years in a similar role, Capital Markets knowledge, Agile methodologies, Excel expertise, and advanced English.

• Engage with senior front-office users in a demanding environment.
• Develop/testing strategies and write clear, concise test cases.
• Gather requirements accurately to form coherent specifications.
• Understand the software development lifecycle and the business analyst role within it.
• Apply FX knowledge and FX Options knowledge to pricing generation and related applications.

Job Description

We are looking for a Business Analyst with experience in Capital markets knowledge.

The FX business is executing a strategic renewal programe that involves gradual and complete overhaul of the core pricing and trading systems.

This consultant will work for the Price & Distrbution squad that is involved inside the Corporate and Investment Banking area and Markets Domain, focused in the development of the applications for the Sales and Traders globally for the FX Options pricing generation for the Trading Floor.

Qualifications

• An ability to conduct careful, structured analysis on complex problems or requirements in order to identify and present defensible conclusions and solutions.
• Hands-on business analysis skillset across the full project life cyle: able to deliver high quality technology solutions on time and budget.
• Ability to work in a demanding environment and engage with senior front-office users.
• Experience in delivering logical and comprehensive test strategies and clear, concise test cases.
• Testing execution capabilities
• Accurate and comprehensive gathering of requirements to enable the formation of coherent specifications.
• A good understanding of the software development lifecycle and the role of the business analyst within it.
• FX knowledge
• FX Options knowledge
