Job summary

A leading consulting firm is seeking a Business Analyst for a hybrid position in Warsaw, Poland. Job Description

• Location: Warsaw, Poland
• Relocation: mandatory

Our client is focusing on developing global solutions across different geographical locations. Their main aim is to create efficient, user friendly and scalable solutions that could be used by different teams across the company.

The main objective of the project you will join is to provide:

• Work with a Data Hub that includes operations from multiple countries
• Incorporate new information into the data hub, whether new products or new countries.
• Support the different teams that consume the information from the data hub.
• Work with different countries and data providers

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Business Analyst, your mission will be to transfer user requirements to the team, functional design and validation of a regulatory application.

We need somebody like you to help us in different fronts.

• You will define the business logic of a BigData system to achieve financial regulatory requirements.
• You will anticipate and manage stakeholder expectations.
• You will question current state and facilitate stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement.
• You will use SQL to analyze data, create/recreate reports/solutions according to the specifications of the requirements agreed with the users.
• You will use SQL to validate data quality of implemented solutions.
• You will use Scrum methodology, and be part of a high performance team.
• You will document your solutions in Santander’s tools: JIRA, Confluence, ALM…

Qualifications

Required qualifications

• University background oriented to financial/business/economy.
• At least 2 years of experience in similar previous roles.
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Knowledge of Excel at a medium user level.
• Problem Solving and Critical Thinking.
• Understanding of banking and/or financial services industry and/or shared services organizations.
• Ability to work with business users from various geographical locations.
• Very good command of English (B2+).

Preferred qualifications

• Financial products in the wholesale banking environment (Fxs, bonds, equities, etc).
• Basic knowledge of Big Data/spark/cloud environments.
• Spanish will be a plus.
