As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our VCS solutions. You will be a valuable part of a cross-functional team located in the EU, which includes system architects, PLC automation engineers, and the Commissioning team, to ensure seamless integration of software components and deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
In this role, you will play an instrumental role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our innovative solutions through meticulous manual testing and active involvement in test automation efforts. You will be responsible for understanding requirements, designing and executing manual test cases, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating closely with the development team. Additionally, you will be expected to contribute to the automation strategy and participate in the development and maintenance of automated tests.
You will report to the Lead of VCS Platform Development Team.

Our VCS fastCenter SCADA system facilitates smooth data acquisition, monitoring, and control of MSD industrial processes through the creation of efficient, reliable, secure, and high-performance automation projects. Software developed to run on fastCenter SCADA automates MSD industrial equipment, processes, and machinery.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Full-Spectrum Testing: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies encompassing both manual and automated testing techniques.
- Integration with CI/CD Pipelines: Integrate automated test scripts into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline to ensure continuous quality assurance.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, track, and verify defects with clear and concise steps to reproduce. Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Performance Testing: Collaborate with performance engineers or contribute to basic performance testing efforts using relevant tools.
- Test Environment Management: Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments for both manual and automated testing.
- Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Mentor junior QA engineers in both manual and automation testing best practices.
Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain effective automated test solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail in both manual and automated testing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
English Proficiency:
Ability to read and write technical documentation and communicate effectively with colleagues in English.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with other programming languages relevant for testing.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Knowledge of security testing principles and tools.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial automation and/or printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing processes.
