Job summary

Genpact Ltd. in Kraków is seeking an Accounts Payable specialist to review and process invoices, verify supplier details, PO numbers, and payment terms, and ensure timely releases.

You will follow AP guidelines, resolve invoice issues via calls or tickets, support pay runs, and contribute to process improvements while maintaining compliance and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degrees in accounting, commerce, economics or finance.
• Masters in finance or related field is a plus.
• Experience with accounts payable processes and reconciliation is preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP and office tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review and process invoices along with providing the resolutions.
• Review and validate basic essentials of valid invoice like supplier details, PO, bank account, invoice #, invoice date etc.
• Release the invoices for payment timely and accurately.
• Ensure that all pay runs get completed as agreed with the customer.
• Follow up with requisitions (via calls/emails or tickets) to solve invoice issues as per AP guidelines.
• Think through ways to reduce helpdesk queries and contribute to process improvements.
• Adhere to internal compliance policy and guidelines established by management on daily operations.
• Perform daily internal audit to ensure invoices/queries are handled per guidelines.
