Qualifications

• University degree in Aerospace, Electronic, or Software engineering.
• 6+ years of systems engineering experience in aerospace or related industries.
• Hands-on hardware test benches and lab environments experience.
• Experience with DOORS and JIRA for software requirements management.
• Knowledge of aerospace standards and regulatory compliance; TCAS knowledge a plus.

As Sr Advanced Systems Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace in Krakow, you will help create breakthrough innovations that will ensure leadership position of the company and take a technical leadership role in creating system solutions for the CNS (Communication, Navigation and Surveillance) team that will meet the long-term evolving needs of our customers.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex CNS systems, including hardware, software, and network components.
• Drive system integration, validation, and verification activities to ensure compliance with aerospace standards
• Work with CNS laboratory environments and test benches to support system integration, validation, troubleshooting, and verification activities for Communication, Navigation and Surveillance solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and develop innovative solutions

Qualifications

• University degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Aerospace, Electronic and/or Software engineering
• 6+ years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in aerospace or related industries
• Hands-on experience working with hardware test benches and laboratory environments for aerospace or avionics system development and verification.
• Experience in software requirements management and requirements-based development using tools such as DOORS and JIRA.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulatory compliance, experience with TCAS solution will be considered as advantage.
