Euroclear is seeking a Splunk Monitoring & Observability Engineer to shape and secure observability capabilities for critical services. You will lead design, implementation, and governance of monitoring, alerting, dashboards, log ingestion, and automation in a hybrid environment.

You will act as a senior technical leader, own complex topics, mentor team members, and drive improvements across cross-functional squads, with strong focus on reliability and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent through experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in senior engineering roles with ownership of complex technical topics.
• Hands-on Splunk administration, configuration, data onboarding, search, dashboards, alerting.
• Skills in automation/scripting with Ansible, PowerShell, or Python.
• Linux/Windows/Network technology familiarity.
• Experience with Dynatrace, Cribl, Tivoli Monitoring, Netcool Omnibus, Flexera.
• Be comfortable leading technical discussions and influencing design decisions.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Ensure operational reliability, resilience, stability, and continuous improvement of monitoring and observability platforms in hybrid environments.
• Act as a senior technical leader for support activities (incidents, alerts, changes, problem management) and drive sustainable resolutions.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and stakeholders to capture and prioritize monitoring requirements.
• Design and lead implementations of monitoring, alerting, dashboards, log ingestion, and automation solutions.
• Lead architecture and design discussions across infra and apps to ensure sustainable, secure, scalable solutions.
• Drive standardization and governance of Enterprise System Management solutions including monitoring and Flexera.
• Develop automation to reduce manual effort and improve controls and scalability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team and communities of practice.
