Job summary

Redwire Europe seeks a Structural Engineer to join its Warsaw-based team, focusing on loads and dynamics for advanced space systems. You will develop system-level finite element models using Nastran, Ansys, or Abaqus and perform detailed analyses of composite and metallic structures, including sandwich panels.

Collaboration with design, thermal, and systems teams is essential to meet ECSS-based requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in structural analysis, design, or testing of hardware.
• Experience creating finite element models with Nastran, Ansys, Abaqus or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of structural dynamics and environments (launch loads, vibration, shock).
• Experience with structural testing or willingness to support test campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Develop system-level finite element models of spacecraft structures using FE tools (Nastran/Ansys/Abaqus).
• Perform detailed modelling of composite and metallic structures, including sandwich configurations.
• Carry out static and dynamic analyses for satellites and deployables.
• Support testing phases with planning, procedures, execution, and data processing.
