Job summary

GFT Poland is seeking a Lead AI & Data Architect to shape our target data architecture for a large-scale cloud transformation in finance. You will design enterprise data platforms on GCP, set governance and quality standards, and enable analytics and surveillance capabilities through modern data architecture principles.

Key responsibilities include defining Bronze-Silver-Gold patterns, creating data models, ensuring security/IAM compliance, and guiding BigQuery-driven cloud-native data

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Enterprise Data Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Data Lakehouse architecture with Bronze, Silver, Gold patterns.
• Hands-on experience designing GCP architectures.
• Strong expertise in BigQuery.
• Experience in conceptual, logical and physical data modelling.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and data quality management.
• Experience with integration architecture and data lineage practices.
• Understanding of GCP security and IAM concepts.
• Experience in Financial Markets or Surveillance domains.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise-scale data architecture and target-state data platform solutions on GCP.
• Define Bronze, Silver and Gold data lakehouse patterns and standards.
• Create conceptual, logical and physical data models for complex domains.
• Establish data governance frameworks, data quality controls and metadata standards.
• Define data integration architecture, data lineage and end-to-end data flows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data elements and enrichments.
• Support analysis-ready datasets and reusable data products.
• Provide architectural guidance for BigQuery-based solutions and cloud-native data platforms.
• Assess cloud migration approaches and target-state options.
• Ensure alignment with security, IAM and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to architecture reviews and best practices.
• Extensive experience in Enterprise Data Architecture (repeated emphasis).
• Hands-on data lakehouse pattern design in GCP environments.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality management.

Salary range: 205 - 275 PLN/H

What will you do?

You will be responsible for defining and shaping the target data architecture for a large-scale cloud transformation initiative within the financial services domain. The role focuses on designing enterprise-grade data platforms on Google Cloud, establishing data governance and quality standards, creating scalable data models and integration patterns, and enabling business-critical analytics and surveillance capabilities through modern data architecture principles.

• Design enterprise-scale data architecture and target-state data platform solutions on GCP
• Define Bronze, Silver and Gold data lakehouse architecture patterns and standards
• Create conceptual, logical and physical data models for complex business domains
• Establish data governance frameworks, data quality controls and metadata standards
• Define integration architecture, data lineage and end-to-end data flows
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to identify common data elements and enrichments
• Support the creation of analysis-ready datasets and reusable data products
• Provide architectural guidance for BigQuery-based solutions and cloud-native data platforms
• Assess cloud migration approaches and target-state architecture options
• Ensure alignment with security, IAM and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to architecture reviews, technical decision-making and best practices
